Eye of Providence - God and the Sun

[edit]

I tweaked the beginning of the article... The Eye of Providence (or the All-Seeing Eye of God) is a symbol that depicts an eye, often enclosed in a triangle and surrounded by rays of light or glory, meant to represent divine providence and the Sun, whereby the eye of God watches over humanity. The latin words ANNUT COEPTIS NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM translate from latin to "He has favoured our undertakings, a new order of the ages". 2603:3020:BE7:A000:34F0:3D04:1A72:1E79 (talk) 14:56, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We reverted your good faith addition… While the motto appears WITH the eye of providence in the Great Seal of the United States, that is the only association - the motto isn’t included in other depictions of they eye. Blueboar (talk) 22:18, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
