    This page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.

    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting a refund of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Template:Titin

    I don't want the page to be restored, but I do want to see the contents of the latest revision before September 2006. Or really, the last 500 or so characters would help.

    The context is some research I'm doing for a blog post. There are two versions of the full name floating around. There's version 1, which appears in e.g. an April 2005 edit of the Wikisource page, and version 2, which appears in e.g. a September 2006 edit of the mainspace titin page. You can tell the difference in that version 2 contains an "x" (near the end, "serxisolucine"), and version 1 doesn't. I'm trying to find out how version 2 came to existence, and I'm wondering if the titin template played a part. The oldest reference I have is that September 2006 edit, but the titin template was created before that, I believe. — cjquines  (talk) 05:51, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    @Cjquines10: There is no revision as you request. The template was created on 19 October 2006. The template ends with "serylisoleucine".

    Apparently, this was deleted last month under WP:F7. This file was being used for the infobox on Barry Allen (DC Extended Universe). Screenshots of film characters for use in the infobox do not violate our policy on non-free content. A recent RfC reaffirmed this consensus. To date, many of the referenced entries in this template have been fully expanded, many attaining B-class or higher ratings with Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history.     Article was deleted despite being notable and relevant based on reliable sources. It cannot be said that reliable and independent sources were used that prove that the subject is notable and the information provided is verifiable. I read the deletion log—I think this is the name—and it says: "Multiple reasons: speedy deletion criteria G4, G5. User: Remitbuber." For instance, G4 does not apply. I do not know how was the past article to know if I should do it different. What I researched is that it was deleted in 2022 and many sources come from 2023 or 2024. And G5 neither, is about "Creations by banned or blocked users, or in violation of general sanctions", and I don't understand why that applies to myself? I understand what may be the past of this article, but it is objectively (as far as I asked and got answer) deserving a Wikipedia entry. I request the article to be undeleted and consider all the underlying problems later.
